This plugin is designed to add a meta box to all posts, pages, and custom post types with a field for redirection. If a URL is inputted and saved to this field the next time you try to visit this post, page, or custom post type, you will be redirected to the inputted URL.

Hello Kyle,
I’d love to use this plug-in – I really need something just like it – but the mentioned box to add the URL does not show. I am on WP 3.1 and installed version 1.5 of Redirect. Ideas? Thoughts?

I don’t know if this is a fact of the new screen options in WordPress. My question to you would be can you see any custom fields? Chances are if you don’t see the redirect input than you won’t see any custom fields. You need to go to your screen options in the admin. It is located below your name in the top left and make sure custom fields is checked. This should display it.
